In the Legend version since 2006, the Boucles have rekindled the flame in the rally fans hearts. Its success is due to a clever compromise between regularity and speed, a friendly spirit, great show, famous drivers and many spectators. After last year’s victory, this year, BMA team’s marquee were accommodating no less than 8 cars spread over the three categories, ‘Legend’, ‘Challenger’ and ‘Classic’. The Bernard Munster’s Porsche 911, with BRAID Fullrace A 7x16” front and Fullrace A 8x16” rear, dominated the Legend throughout the race, but a complicated Sunday, with minor hit in the first Special Stage jeopardising the car’s set-up and added to that, a rather sharper engine than usual, more typical for asphalt, and a choice of tyres not really suited to the arrival of the snow on Saturday and Sunday, Bernard Munster end up with just missing out on a podium, in 4th place. BMA Team will be back in action in just a few weeks at the Belgian Rally Championship 2018 with its Porsche 997 GT3, also with BRAID wheels.
