The Return of Free Shipping!
After over a year hiatus, free ocean freight shipping is back.
Starting now until January 1st, 2027 all orders are eligible for FREE ocean freight shipping! Ocean freight orders had previously been on hold due to instability with U.S. import tariffs, but are now back.
Ocean freight has been a great way to save money on a set of custom made Braid wheels! We do this by combining multiple orders together into one shipping container. The wheels are then shipped to our warehouse at Team Illuminata Motorsport in Waterford, Michigan. Once they arrive, orders are divided up and shipped via UPS to their final destination OR available for local pickup.
Ocean freight does take longer than the traditional Air Freight shipping option, since all wheels in production need to be completed before they are ready to be packaged together on a pallet. From the order close date, it is typically 2-3 months until the shipment arrives in the U.S. and is delivered to the customer.
Air Freight will continue to be available with standard shipping rates for all orders that require expedited delivery.
Cast wheel models ordered before Nov. 1, 2026 will arrive February 2027. The November 1st cutoff is specifically designed for ARA, NASA, and any motorsport season that begins in February of 2027.
All other wheels ordered before January 1, 2027 will be set to arrive in mid April or earlier. This is to accommodate for custom Forged and 3 Piece wheel orders.
